The court today gave the verdict of the petition filed by the Center against the extinction of Article 370 of the constitution from Kashmir. The verdict issued by the Supreme Court today said that the decision of the Center to abolish Article 370 was constitutionally legal.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also welcomed the Supreme Court judgement. Shah says “Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a historic decision on October 5, 2019. Peace has returned to Kashmir valley since then. The economic condition of the common people has also improved including the development of various sections including tourism. Solicitor General Tushar Mehtayo also welcomed the Supreme Court verdict.
